Turn, Turn, Turn...

I love the time of year when summer heat mellows into golden sunshine. At this lake in the Pacific Northwest, blackberries ripen, hanging from interwoven branches bordering the trail.

It reminds me of the seasons of writing: the scary and exciting first blooming of a new book—the long days of writing (some sunny, some cloudy)—and then the fruit forming as the story gets closer to the finish line.

The best to you in all your seasons of creating something new!
